Kate Lewis

Kate (she/her) is a practising painter who has been living, working and creating in Naarm for more than nine years, and is currently undergoing a Masters in Contemporary Art at the VCA.  Kate’s work continues to explore the intersection of place, space and practice whilst translating a fleeting moment in time with her oil paint, in an attempt to extend the boundaries of what a painting can communicate.

Holy Trinity Collective

Demure got chatting with Pip, Maree and Stephanie, the girls who started Holy Trinity Collective. HTC is an up and coming events and zine collective focusing on women-identifying and GNC artists and contributors in Naarm. They talk inclusivity, imposter syndrome, their overall experiences in the industry, and what they're doing to actively combat the predominantly male-held spaces of DJing, producing and event organising.
