Gaidagal Land

“I am a sculptural artist based on Gadigal land. I have always been fascinated by the iridescence of natural objects. Whether in the form of a butterfly wing, a bird feather or a seashell, nature has been a consistent source of inspiration in my artwork.”

“Over time I have developed a passion for finding beauty in waste materials. Naturally, I found the engineered iridescence of an aluminium coffee capsule familiar, and immediately saw artistic potential”.

“Drawing from an entomological aesthetic, I aim to transform the viewer's perception of a single use waste product into something which is preserved and admired for its beauty”
