I’m a singer/songwriter, musician who is currently focusing on advancing my production skills. I have been making music for years, primarily vocals, guitar and piano. My music taste is heavily inspired by bands and artists such as Silverchair, Bon Iver, The Sundays, Kate Bush and Oklou. A blend of Pop, Rock and Grunge. I focus on transiency in my songwriting, it's a journal to me. I use it to self-reflect, whether on personal downfalls, issues in my life or accomplishments.
I released my first single at the beginning of last year, called ‘Tokyo’, written after a trip to Japan in 2017. I then started working with a friend of mine, Finn (@djhomeinvader) who then began to start producing my newest exciting project and that’s how ‘An Ode To Whoever’ my upcoming EP began.

I think as I have become more comfortable in myself, that has also been expressed in my music. Not only have I got more confidence in my craft, I have been tirelessly working to gain knowledge, experience and production skills. I’m currently studying at RMIT, which has been great to gain more knowledge about the music industry. Ultimately, I’ve started making music for myself, exactly how I would want it to be, instead of what I think/thought others would like or have expected from me. Unsurprisingly, my newest works are the ones that are doing the best. It gives me an enormous sense of love to know that people are enjoying listening to my works as much as I loved making them.
For me, my music is what I have done since I was really little. It’s its own form of communication for me, a way where I can vent to myself, reflect, process and release. The emotion that I put into my music cannot be described in just words alone, it's a feeling. My music has helped me handle grief, sadness, all types of emotions, ones I cannot simply put into words. Especially a song I have coming out called ‘Sweater Weather Pt. 1 & Pt. 2’. I wrote the first half of the song when I was facing the difficulties of being an 18 year old. The second part was written when I had just turned 21, and was almost a message to my 18 self. I found it incredibly emotional, I found myself crying once I heard the final of the track. Not necessarily a sad or happy cry, somewhere perfectly in the middle. This sense of peace. It was overwhelming.
The next things planned are the release of my EP ‘An Ode To Whoever’ and music video, and fingers crossed some live shows with my band. I’m so ready to start playing some live gigs again and getting to perform all the new tracks. After that, I hope to just keep going and going and going. Never been more ready.
