Tandie Banana (she/her) uses the resurging popularity and influence of Lolita and its themes/aesthetics to open a larger discussion regarding the persistent sexualisation of young girls in society, and how this is reflected back at us by pop culture.

Exploring dreamscapes and the shifting gap between reality and fantasy, the pieces are created as amulets to accompany the wearer in daily battle.
